This was one of the first songs I wrote for Misery Loves Company, back in 2002 or 2003, I think. We recorded this demo and then sort of abandoned the song.
At this time I was so insecure about my voice that I tried my best to imitate Tom Waits. :’D
Still, there’s something endearing about this to me.
